love never ends

I wait under the stars.  I wait, here, for my heart.  When the splendor of the sunrise
shines, we’re never long apart.  Still, night is stretching far; just me, the sand, the sea,
and stars.  No other shall suffice, none, yet my Spanish spice. I know he’ll find his way
again to live in paradise. His spirit is my light, my core is fueled;ignite.  Connection; his
love is like fire.  Affection; tis’ full of desire.  The sky is filled with wonder, ever changing
as we turn.  The world is running circles, still I yearn for his return.  Until then shall I
watch for dark to drift by on replay. Earth may shift beneath my feet but I imply to stay.
The moon has kissed my forehead and I smile with my eyes.  I whisper with the silence
and await for his reply.  I hear nothing but the feelings which I feel deep down inside.
Telling of un-proven truth; love intends to die.  Life is just a story where we learn to say
goodbye.  Re-learn, we love, we live then die.  When lovers die we all do cry.  It makes
no sense to ask of why, we certainly will say goodbye;not forever. No, the dead never
stay dead. What happens, then, instead?  Perhaps just when a story ends it all begins
again.  I contend, let our love sail across the pages; heaven. That is where I believe we
will meet again and again in different lives;different ages. Heaven is not a place we
find when we have come die.  It is a state of living that has lived throughout all time. Two
souls encircled, inter-twining;death so well defied.  I listen to my spirit; I let her be my
guide.  Speaking softly through my ears, I hear without a doubt.  Nothing that I thought
I knew is what love is about.  The evening is awoken by the glistening of light.  My
senses stir about me, open eyes;excite.  So shall he rise with the sun before my sight.
My spirit speaks to me as he steps into my life.  Questioning my feelings, my soul stands
still in place.  How is it I recollect this strange, familiar face?  True, the first time I met
him was in fact not the first; nor last.  Lovers found in present are our future and our past.
I close my eyes to see.  I practice breathing slowly to the sound of waves in sea.
I practice like I’m dying and he’s always here with me.

I wait under the stars. I wait, here, for my heart.  When the splendor of the sunrise shines,
we’re never long apart. I picture that he’s swimming, right here in the sea. He’s swimming,
laughing loudly;right here next to me. We’re always happy.  I close my eyes to see.  I practice
breathing slowly to the sound of waves in sea.  I practice like I’m dying and he’s always here
with me. I imply to stay; I'll wait. The evening is awoken by the glistening of light. That's
when senses stir about me, open eyes;excite.  So shall he rise with the sun before my
sight.  My spirit speaks to me as he steps into my life. Questioning my feelings, my soul
stands still in place.  How is it I recollect this strange, familiar face?  True, the first time I met
him was in fact not the first; nor last.  Lovers found in present are our future and our past.
Whether it is life or death, quite possibly, love never ends.  Love does not die.  Lovers never
mean it when they say their last goodbye; don’t cry.  We shall return again, to meet again;
time and again; amen.
