Love is no drug
Love, a drug?
An addiction?
No no, that is all fiction,
My child, my lover,
If you feel love it will feel like your brother, your mother,
Your sister or your mister, no possession no control,
Only passion and trust,
There can be lust that comes naturally
But if it becomes hard, if it's unraveling you may be in danger
The one you loved can suddenly become a stranger, if they do don't work it out
For the toxins will sink in and no good can come out, be free
Don't give in to guilt or abuse for it is only you that you are hurting
Be yourself and find true love for it is not what I've said above
It is compassionate and friendly, caring and kind and never treats you poorly
Never leaves you sad and upset but fills your heart so big it aches sorely
Sorely with sweetness and a sweet little kiss
That shall fill you with so much bliss,
So when it's said that love is a drug that it is an addiction,
Don't believe those fools for that is fiction
Love is what you let go and bring back for if it is there constantly
It is tainted, if you love something let it go and it will comeback before you know
Love, all though it comes and goes
if you're with the right one it can be permanent throughout all the woes
