Love is Not Dictated

I think,

When curiosity never dies

When reciprocity survives

When mutuality and trust kill lies

Then love will always be alive

However,

Someone would have you believe

That love is a strict set of rules

But love cannot be conceived

By the mind you innocent fool

Love must only be perceived

Not enforced through the threat of a noose

Through what we seem fit that it be
