Love is not Pain
Dear Women of the World,
He beats you until your eyes are black,
just because he wants to throw back a bottle of Jack.
He tells you your worthless until you believe,
because he knows with that you'll never leave.
He says sorry over and over again to try and offset,
why you wake up from your nightmares of him in a cold sweat.
He does nothing but control,
he's been sent on parol.
You try to escape,
it's practically rape.
He's everywhere,
life doesn't seem fair.
You pray and pray,
and ask how sharp is this blade?
I am here to say,
that you'll be happy soon one day.
You are strong and beautiful,
and your greatness is pleniful.
I believe,
that you can leave.
He will no longer reign,
because love is not pain.
