"Love is not torture"

I'd like to think we were soulmates at one point in our lives, but now I'm not sure We were never on the same path, never quite matching You were destined for greatness, and I was just trying to find peace in my life You were always too good for me, then I realized that this is not how love is supposed to be I needed you but you never needed me You still don't and you never will, and that's fine I understand I'd like to think we were soulmates I'd like to think we still are There will always be a piece my heart saved for you where no one may enter, it's just for us and what we've shared, but I ultimately have to accept that we served our purpose and now I have to let you go From my heart From my mind From my soul This is not love, Love is not torture
