Love Over Distance

There is a place where you used to be,

Sitting here, lying here, being here next to me.

I'm  unsettled and restless without you here,

But you're nowhere around, you're nowhere near.

Together is how we filled most of our days,

With adventures, small traditions, and just hanging around.

What's to be sacred, between just us two stays?

And what can be shared and is not similarly bound?

You are not gone forever, I'll see you again,

But here is my message to carry 'til then -

I love you dearly although we're apart,

And I will be waiting, missing you, with all my heart.
