love is patient, love is kind

the only way love is so true

is when my thoughtful eyes look at you.

it is patient, it is kind,

it thinks like no other mind.

love functions in mysterious ways.

our love may go astray, but

love is only found one's heart.

but through it all, I cannot bear to be apart.

love is patient, love is kind,

love has never wined.

if our love is so true

how can I seek comfort in

front of you?

love is not jealous, love is not pride

but when it is, it comes from

a mysterious side.

love is patient, love is kind

a healthy relationship

should never be set aside.
