Love Poem: Remember

You make me feel loved, amazing, in warmth around your arms, hope that the next day will be better with you by my side

I remember the first day we meet and you were so funny, kind, a little skinny, haha, you were my  best friend and I felt happy and joyful since you can into my life

Remember we were in Chain of Lakes in 6th grade, 2015-2016, and when we met each other I would always poke you and I would laugh because every time I got close you would smile and your face would turn red like a tomato

I remember when my dad was gone  and me and my sisters were alone while my mother would work all day and I was scared/depressed/anger all the time, then you came in and made me hope for a better school year when I met you

Also when I ran away I was anger with the world and I was thinking about my family than about you, I didn’t want to hurt you but I thought I failed however you didn’t care what I did just who I was and what I wanted to be

I remember that I have this blanket when I ran away, my dad was gone, my mom was workin’ hard, my sisters holding hands, and me crying in the dark when no one was looking, I always hold onto it and thought of you when I cried for love

This is what I remember then and now since you came into my life and changed my mind

 You’re my love and I am yours
