For the Love of Poems
What do poems mean to me?
Let's take a look and see
I was read poems as a toddler
These times were a bit of a blur
I was young
But to hear that slip of the tongue
It was quite intriguing
Something like my plaything
Life was simple back then
Just us in our playpens
Now we're young adults
Many things are still occult
For example, why i like poems
It was just a thing I was taught at home
My love for poems is undeniable
With them, life is never dull
If only when I go to college
And not live life on the edge
But instead, write poems all day and all night
Until the stars come out and the sun is out of sight
