Love. Priceless or Free?

Love. Priceless or Free?

The definition of love is from within

Everyone’s is different so there is no end

But somewhere out there two are a match

And the journey to find them is wats gets you attached

With that person is where you want to be

But a cost comes with it Priceless or Free

Love brings happiness, comfort, and joy

But can turn to darkness if treated like a toy

Love is meant for one or two

Give it to many and it turns on you

Like it or not Love is a task

So, I sit here thinking about the question I must ask

Love is the world I would like to see

But a cost comes with it Priceless or Free

Love can bring sorrow, regret, and pain

Hearts become broken then facial rain

It puts you in a Box and out of my zone

Now you are lost and soon alone

You say the significant other is your shining star

But you also have lost who you truly are

When dealing with love there is always a fee

So, I ask myself, Priceless or Free

There are too many tasks that cannot all be done

Love is a battle that cannot be won

For no matter which side there will be loss

Ultimately in Love that is the cost

Either choose your partner or side with friends

But soon enough one will end

So, close your eyes and count to three

And ask yourself Priceless or Free

When opened again a decision is made

Hopefully the best like the ace of spades

Like said before it comes from within

And then Love too you becomes a trend

That is not a good thing so be aware

For love is tender therefore rare

If you found Love and you’re at peace

Then keep straight no bends nor crease

Love can get old you must renew the lease

Or the love you once had will now cease

I know now what Love is to me

Yet I still ask is it priceless or free
