Is Love Really Blind?

I did what you said because you said, "I love you"

I didn't hesitate because I believed every word that spilled out of your mouth

Yet when I didn't like what you said or did I kept it to myself

My friends warned me; They saw the signs

But what I thought was love kept me blind

When I got the courage to finally say goodbye, every " I love you" became a lie

But real friends stick by your side

Because when real friends say "I love you"

It is enough to prove that maybe love really isn't really what blinds us

So is love really blind?
