Love is Sacrificial

She wakes me in the morning so that I am not late

Running toward the kitchen I see

My lunch and my breakfast are prepared and out the door I go

I come home and there is a hot meal waiting for me on the dining table

My clothes are all folded for me in the basket

She does not work although she longs too '

She sits at home in boredom

Although she feels this

She knows

Her children will always need her

And there she is with no hesitation

Love means this

Love is sacrificial

She could make money

She could work the job of her dreams

But that is not her priority

She puts us first before everything no matter what it will cost

Her drive is her children and she is our strength
