Love Sinks Too

Drifitng off in your love,

how could i find myself at sea.

Searching for clarity in your heart,

although I only find the love I want you to give

in me.

Paddling further in love's water,

oh how did i get too deep!

Thought you would come along for this boat ride

when really you was still standing on the beach.

I see you from a disance,

blowing away from my life like sand in the wind.

How can sacrifce going out into this storm to find your love,

when your love was already at the end.

Now I find myself  hitting lover's rock ,

crashing with nothing to keep me a float.

Well there goes love's boat sinking deep.

To bad you aren't hear to save me

from drowing

because your still standing from a far

watching the love that I have for you

wash away at sea.

Just like the sand that stands beneath your feet.
