Love So Smelly

It was the walk in the park where your scent stood out

Intimadating it was, chypre strong

Though that's why I knew my love for you would sprout

Every memory we made together was clouded by your scent

It was my reminder for happiness

It wasn't about the sappiness

This was about how much it meant

A soft, floral intake in the mornings

While we laid in the heavenly sunlight

More and more was I falling

Your rich aromatic presence began to diminish

By then I knew you were finished

By then time you turned your cheek and became swinish
