A Love Sonet

I have tried to speak to you of my love My laughing and joking don’t shine through If only you knew how to show your love It could be found by Cinderella’s shoe We could have a love like the Beast and Belle Maybe not perfect but close from above We could tell a tale where we both just fell Every Angel needs a Cowboy to love But as you ignore my thoughts and words My feelings drip like a melting ice cone Through my tears I hear singing birds All you have to do is pick up the phone Give me a single sign to prove to me The words you speak to me sting like a bee.
