A LOVE SONG

A Love Song…..

Oh Father God!

I humbly kneel;

Today on bended knee,

Before your throne of grace

I sing this love song,

To you my LORD!

Oh Father God!

You picked me up

When I was down,

Unconditionally;

Is your love for me?

And that was what I needed most.

Oh Father God!

You gave me strength,

To carry on

When the only thing

I’d felt before,

Was a weakness in my soul

And in my heart?

Oh Father God!

You gave me understanding

At a time when all I felt

Was bitterness, hatred

And beset of an unforgiving heart,

Yet your love shone through for me,

With compassion

And a true direction.
