Love Song for a Goddess of the Sky

We could be phantoms of the sky

In this endless kaleidoscope darkness

We are free and we are perfect

Nebula hair laced through my fingers

Broken-geode amethyst lips a breath away from mine

You are everything

I could be your atmosphere

Breathing the same air

Our eyes glittering like stars

Your skin dark and smooth as night

Moonlight eyes that are the death of me

I love everything about you

We could dance together in the dark

Both of us blazing like the sun

Fire in our veins

We are boundless and lovely

A goddess and her mortal wife
