love songs

When I see you

My mind plays every love song I know

All at once

And you’d think I would be in excruciating pain

With every voice and beat passing through my mind

But it’s quite peaceful

And gives me energy behind every smile you put on my face.

Every love song was written for you

Why do you think my mind is always in the clouds?

When I stare at your lips my mind plays symphonies

When my eyes connect yours

You create melodies

I can’t seem to write down

But in my mind

It all seems right.

And I’m listening to this tune-less masterpiece

Because you are the beat

You are the trumpets

You are the violins

You are the thundering drums

You are every pastorale voice.

You are every love song I know.
