Love Story

if I were to scream from the rooftops that I didn't love you,

you'd hear the whole world laugh simultaneously.

I could never get myself to even slightly believe that statement,

because it is untrue.

if you were to scream at me,

I'd just take in your voice as it surrounded me at such a great new level.

if you were to hit me,

I'd just silently embrace the lovely experience of a new feeling of your touch.

but, if another were to scream at me,

I'd feel small & hurt.

if another were to hit me,

I'd be extremely frightened.

the moral of the story is -

nothing you could ever do

would lessen my affection for you.

you are my idea of perfect in anything & everything you do.

and I think I might always be in some kind of love with you.
