Love is Tough

I look at the stars late at night

The wind that blows against my face is very cold

I did whatever I could to make you shine bright

When you were lonely I was always there for you to hold

I gave you the world and everything I had

Everything I bought or did was all for you

When I heard about what you did your only words were my bad

I wish you had the guts to tell me that we were through

After what I went through I was very upset

When thinking of you it was hard for me to live

I wish I never got in that relationship but there's no reset

I prayed to God day and night and he had much to give

I will admit you made me look like a fool at school

Now that I've seen your true colors I realize you're nothing but a useless tool
