a love unseen
i traced your name in fleeting air,
a whisper lost, a silent prayer.
your eyes saw past me, never near,
yet still, i stayed, unseen, sincere.
the sun would set, the moon would rise,
but never once within your eyes
did longing bloom, did embers glow,
just passing kindness, nothing more.
and so i love in quiet ache,
a heart that bends but will not break.
for even if you never see,
i’ll love you still—silently.
