Successful but lonely Dinner at the finest restaurants for you only Flights to the 7 Wonders for you solely Mind full of experience, in return your heart is shallow An abundance of accomplishments, yet no satisfaction Now consider the other side of the equation I open myself, leaving love with an opportunity To present possible mates for me Invest in a few failed relationships, then I find the one, finally We fall so deep and decide to get married Before I know it we start having babies Life so far is amazing Then creeps the inevitable feeling Of regret... So caught up in love, I lost myself Pushed aside all my plans, hopes, and dreams For someone else...
