Love is War

To fight for love is what I do,

To fight for us is what I'll do.

the past , like waves washing up on the present,
allowing us to be soaked in resentment.

Will we cave in? Or will we give love?
all we have is love so let us move forward,
be abrupt.

    I give of me,
    You give of you.

Often said we, an item , existing as one.
a seed planted in the grounds of this earth
Plagued with worms but still flourishing and giving birth.

Birth to what , birth to who?
Of course a love which is only true
This is only a storm just passing through
Please hold my hand and I'll hold yours too.
