Love Was Kind

If I try my best

But gravity lets me fall

I'll remeber that love was kind.

I'll embrace it's mixed singals

And dwell on it's eternal flame

When it would kiss my skin

And leave a stain so bright

That everyone could see.

I'll embrace it's gracefullness

It's blooming flowers on a spring day

The coolness of sand in my toes

And the trial of rain as it trickles down my face

I'll sew the peices of my heart and hear it beat again

It's irregular rhythm will pulse thorugh my veins

And I will remeber that I am different

And like those before me gravity

released its grip on me and I fell

Right alongside those who fight in this battle for love

And it just makes sense

Cause when it's all said and done

love was kind
