A Love That Will Last

If they had not met

I would not be here

I am not being funny

these words are sincere

I can't do my laundry

no, I can't wash my clothes

when I was just three

I could not wipe nose

I don't have to ask

there are no conditions

I could not last

being in their position

These words aren't even a fraction

of what they have shown me

even with this kind action

there is nothing they owe me
