Love Will Stand

Love is the essence of all living things

It gives life and meaning to all

Both you and me

Though big or small

Through thick and thin

Love comes off the winner

Of life's great battlefield

Anger, though vibrant and hot

Leaves a wake of broken things

Love's kind touch brings the heart

To lighted meadows and kind flowing springs

Doubt is fickle, doubt is troubled

Never knows what is best, unwilling to choose

Love's great light shines on the once darkened road

Leading to greatness and grand lofty views

Finally hate is the true enemy of all

All it does is take with unceasing monstrosity

While under the evil siren call,

None can adhere to the atrocity of it all

Only one can heal and give release

A brand new start, constantly growing

Giving till at the very least

One's ownself is all to bring

Love is the answer to all of life's problems

It gives to one, yet never just one

Because the reach is vastly greater

Than what we can see with life's short run
