The Light of the world,
In a manger lies.
The Hope of the world,
In a stable cries.
The Peace of the world,
In a virgin's arms.
The Life of the world,
A man keeps from harm.
The King of the world,
With straw for his throne.
The God of the world,
In a donkey's home.
The Joy of the world,
An ox is his friend.
The Love of the world,
Is born for all men.
