Love is worth it

Love is a challenge, but it’s worth it for you

Because I love the way you smile and do the things you do

You understand my flaws and love me despite

I wish I met you earlier, I do with all my might

You see, he didn’t love me

He hurt me inside

He pushed, he yelled

I felt like I died

I was broken, shattered in pieces

I cried night after night

Trying to find the reasons

My love was a token that he took for granted

But you love me so and used it as an advantage

You treat me with care

You love so gentle

You treat me like a goddess

And my body is your temple

You let me lead the way

You let me take control

You listen to what I say

And hold me when I’m cold

Because I love you

You love me too

You changed my world around

And made me anew
