In Love With You

Hair red as fire
Or an orange sunset
Short soft hair
Tall skinny stature
Lighting up my day
Little lies in sight
Not hiding struggles
Brightening the night
As I wish to meet someday
And hope and even pray
As I try to talk to you
And as we talk away
I hope we don’t drift apart
Because I don’t have the heart
To not be in love with you
