Love Yourself
When we first met, I didn't like you
Infact, there were two others waiting in my que.
But you were sweet and pushed yourself through,
Little did I know, you didn't like you.
I told my friends about how great you are,
How confident you seemed, and how you loved me.
I would never have guessed that it was all an act.
As weeks passed we both became busy,
No time for each other, let alone a text or call.
This is when I knew our relationship was going to fall.
Its not you its me, you said, I thought it all was in my head.
After you broke my heart
Now that we have grown apart,
I realized that you need to be able to love yourself
Before you love anyone else.
