Love — What Of It? [Essay/Ramble, Unfinished]

Placeholder text while I slowly fill this out

Will be assembled into something coherent sometime soon, split into dated sections.

A series of ramblings on love of all kinds -- though in this page exploring a pessimistic view of it.

Heavy emphasis on human sexuality -- may reclassify into a separate entry when I write enough.

Obviously NOT rigorous; only conjecture based on brief observations.

Very tenuous logic here, but an attempt at thinking nonetheless.

(insert ramblings about dishonesty, regression, counterintuitive nature of the "crush", socialization, etc) Infatuation inspires terror

Infatutation and Limerence

"Limerence is a state of mind which results from romantic attraction to another person and typically includes obsessive thoughts and fantasies and a desire to form or maintain a relationship with the object of love and have one's feelings reciprocated. Limerence can also be defined as an involuntary state of intense romantic desire.

Infatuation or being smitten is the state of being carried away by an unreasoned passion, usually towards another person for whom one has developed strong romantic or platonic feelings."

Latent cruelty -- robbing the subject of humanity, eg. dominion

making the fulfillment of bonding redundant --

Social manipulation -- "game of probabilities"

Some additional thoughts, about politeness:

Passive regulation
