Loved
I AM loved. Only for a short time have I known this is the case.
He showed me an image of real love; blood flowing down the sides of His face.
I then knew a crown of thorns, three nails and a King took my place.
Only in this could death bring an immense amount of grace.
My mind still cannot comprehend the dimensions of this love,
That a Father would give His only son, and this son would give his life for what He is innocent of.
My heart sings to it’s Creator, proud of the love it can now be a part of,
My life purpose now to please my loving Father above.
