Loved Loss

Those we love don't go away

They walk beside us each and  everyday.

Unseen, unheard, but always near,

So loved, so missed, so very dear.

Your life was a blessing Your memory a treasure,

You are loved beyond words And missed by measure.

No farewell words were spoken No time to say goodbye,

You were gone before we knew it, And only God knows why.

Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end.

They simply mean I'll miss you, Until we meet again.

Your presence were a gift Your loss just seems so wrong

You shouldn't have left before us, It's with loved ones you belong.

Death leaves a heartache That no one can heal,

Love leaves a memory That no one can steal.

The stars in the sky can be loved ones Letting us know they are near

By guiding us through the night While wiping away our tears
