Loved Ones

I have been left and lost,

When I was young until now,

By family and by friends,

And they may never really know,

The hurt they caused,

Me and the ones who care.

Many feelings come and go,

But the pain will always be near.

To disappoint or be disappointed,

Since before I could tell,

Plus, rejection and denial,

Much I have felt before.

But with all this pain and sorrow,

I have found happiness in the ones who I truly love.
