loveless life

Love for me from him, her and them

Love from us to others

Love for everyone and everything

From everyone and everything

Without love

Who are you and who am I?

Love

A feeling of deep affection

Love

What makes the world go round?

Is it green and lifeless?

Or is an essential piece of the soul?

So many layers

One can’t begin to understand

Love

The amount you feel makes you

Shapes you and defines you

Without affection what does any of this mean?

Nothing

It dictates my every move

Every thought

A surplus makes me deliriously happy

Leaves an overwhelmingly sweet taste

On my tongue

Down my throat

Throughout my day

Without it I feel nothing

See nothing

Appreciate nothing

Without love I am nothing
