Lovely Are The Scars

How

am I supposed to focus on all the good in life when I am ever so

Numb

like the scars on my wrist, the ones that never made it past my skin

Frantic

are the thoughts in my head as I'm panicking about everyone being able to see them

Almost A Year

has gone by since the thing that changed me into a

Crazy Head Case

and made me love the way scars looked and the way they began to feel

Insane

was the way that I learned to label the actions that didn't make any sense

Including

the lovely scars wrapping themselves around my right wrist.
