The Lovely Blues

Your voice is like music to my ears

Your words have rhythm, like the beat of a drum

I get goose bumps every time you are near

Some things you do make my heart go pum, pum, pum

The low tone reminds me of the blues

Jimmy Hendricks,Ray Charles and BB King

The meaning of the words I have no clue

I still stand with you and sing

You the musician, playing the trombone with vitality

Me the vocalist crooning every note

Together we perform with tonality

The lovely song we have wrote

A tune of devotion

A true love notion
