This Lovely Feeling

Is there one thing I couldn’t live without?

Maybe a book; maybe my closest friend,

But no friend lasts forever. What about

A book? No, those grow dull and always end.

If there’s one thing I couldn’t live without,

I think it would be the love in my heart.

Though at times, it’s the one thing that I doubt,

I really do like it, for the most part.

I love to feel loved, and I love to love.

It’s a feeling I know I need to share.

It’s something I don’t want to get rid of.

Instead, my heart on my sleeve I will wear.

I’ll never give up this lovely feeling.

Sharing my heart is just so appealing.
