lover
I find sincere details in my writting
I know it is for you
but I also have a sense of the butterflies that traveled so far
I feel the grass brushing against my toes
sweet crops fresh in the air
pollen flowing through the breeze
all on this mid summer's night dream.
I drank the color of a baby blue sweatshirt
your brown curly hair against the sky
those cotton candy clouds fought against the light
your lips turned up
a smile
to unbehave
oh darling a lover
what thou has't made
trust me for the blankets lay on the ground
that trampoline dew soaking our backs
trust me darling
It'll be alright.
I wanna try it.
Don't you?
I'm sorry,
I always forget.
People like you don't love people like me.
It is all in my head.
I can't
I will never get
for I fall short every single time.
Darling we are not the same.
But you are always in my daydream.
