Lover
The back of your head is engraved in my mind
my feet ache to run toward you but are paths are no longer aligned
I know that I am unwelcomed, that you can't find us in yourself
You gave us away to the first hunger that crept up your pants without any stealth
We loved with our bodies leaving our hearts numb to our undoing,
but now the hurt is all too real and engrossing.
It is you and me; not us.
We have fallen apart and lost one anothers trust
Our bed was meant for two, yet you crowed it with three.
Pushing me over the edge the leftover from our crash, the debris.
We would have never last
For when it comes to pleasure you climax far to fast
Farewell to you unfair lover
