Love's a Fickle Entity

Love's a Fickle Entity--

Free from Thought of laws--

Beaten down -- by Enmity--

Reserved for Sorest cause.

And in the Sunday Church bells Ring

The invitation of Despair--

Essaying to bring Thy near--

Just for Heaven in Hell's despair

Yet don't be fooled--

It brings much -- Hate!

Indifferent to the Warmth of peace --

Seeking only your Love to bate --

For this is not -- Love--

The Ecstasy of fear --

The innocence of spring mournings

A happy flower Freed of winter's Grasp --

Inspired by yours truly, Emily Dickinson. This poem tries to achieve the isolation and manipulation of love by conveying "Because I Love You" through religion and other organizations, not just someone in a "committed" relationship, as healthy relationships are comprising of all experiences and interactions with objects and people. Sometimes, the best form of love is the freedom from an inconceivable pain and the ability to thaw from the world's miseries and appreciate the world's false subtleties.
