Loves Last Goodbye

We stood outside listening to the earth speak Wind whistling through spent rusted leaves You embraced me like the sun it seemed, your touch on my arm bringing peace. I exhaled in your presence, warm breath on frosted air. Looking upon your face with awe, Watching the sun dance upon the waves of your hair. I envied the crystalline snowflakes their ability to be so bold As they covered your face in gentle kisses You smiled at me in the cold.
