Loves Monstrosity

It's funny how when people fall in love,

People's goals and desires change.

They themselves begin anew.

Some turn into a kind and loyal dove,

While others into a vile creature of rage.

It's odd that love is like a morning dew.

It's there, shining and making grass beautiful,

Then the sun comes and takes it away in a blaze,

The relationship a fading memory.

How can love be so wonderful,

yet so quickly die and then decay?

It's funny how love, so pure and kind,

Can also be someone's monstrosity.
