The Loves of My Life

Curious eyes cast down from heaven

I see a boy, young and joyful, with his father

Delight displayed upon their bright faces

Who are they?

The family chosen specifically for me

My guardians waiting for me

So much love they have to offer

A love that, one day, will be mine

Sunshine bounces off the crystal water

God beams down upon them

Hanging four feet off of the ground,

Eyes shining, the boy looks to his father with wholesome glee

Who are they?

They are my true loves waiting for me

Who will one day look out for me

And take all my pains away

God is sending me to the perfect place

The loves of my life I have come to know,

A brother and a father who love me so

Forever I will run to their arms

To the place where I belong

Daddy’s girl I will forever be

My heart is theirs permanently
