Love's Power

The silent, the weak, the weary.

That is who we are.

We have no identity.

We have no voice.

We are but whispers upon the wind.

The darkness of night surrounds us, and holds us.

We have been abandoned. Left for dead.

Everyone has turned their back.

But no longer will we be silent.

No longer will we remain chained to the memories of our own past.

No longer will we be defined by the marks upon our arms.

No longer will we hide in fear.

A small light shines bright in the darkness.

Our voices now raise as we cry out.

The hurting. The pain. The past.

Waves of pain from every corner of the earth.

Never to be forgotten.

Never to be abandon.

Never to be lost in the dark again.

The morning comes. Darkness fades.

The world remains yet the same.

But we. We will carry on.

We will survive. We are strong.

And we will love.
