Loving

You are always there when I need a hand; You always care and under stand, When I feel no else understands you do. You're right beside me; Even when I try to push you away, To show you that I can stand on my own. When I try to handle a situation by myself that is not going my way; You stand quietly and patiently waiting, For me to ask you for a hand; And when you take my hand You smile at me telling me its okay Then you show me how to handle the problem at hand. When I am weak you're my strength, When I am scared you're my courage. When I am sad you are my shoulder and my rock. You listen and understand; You work when you feel your worst Just to make sure my sister and I are okay. You pull through when everything says you can't. For that I thank you Mom, Because I know you didn't have to.
