The Loving Bleeding Heart
The Loving Bleeding Heart
By: Tristen Baker
When I say I love you,
It means I love everything about you,
It means that if I were to say something stupid,
Like I hate something that is a part of you…
I’d be lying,
Because though I can hate things you do,
I can never bring myself to that point to where I hate you too…
I just love you too much.
I promised you forever,
No matter how hard the going got,
And I will not and cannot let either of us give up,
Because what we have is something truly special,
We complete each other,
Babe,
I haven’t bee this happy in all of my life,
And this is just yet another obstacle that we must face together…
Together…
It’s a word that symbolizes our bond,
The one word that is used,
To show you that I am never going anywhere,
Not now,
Not ever,
And if I die in the process,
So be it….
Because I would sell my soul to the devil himself,
If it meant I got to spend an eternity with you.
Leslie,
You are my most precious,
You are my heart,
My soul,
The happiness I never knew at one point…
You’ve showed me these lovely feelings I’ve never felt,
And I want you to feel them too,
It just seems at tho moment,
That what we must do,
Is roll with these punches,
Because we will both hurt regardless of the situation,
But it’s the matter of getting back up to take another one,
That will make us stronger,
And better than the one who is doing this to you….
