Loving Freely

Im a fool,

because my passion triumphs my reason.

And I love carelessly.

But, I couldn't live without it: Love.

I love the pastel shades of dawn when I awake.

I love how the warm air engulfs me, welcomes me as I leave my home.

I love the faces of people, all so beautiful and different,

and their 'Goodmorning's and 'Have a good one's.

I love the peoples chatter, and their laugh makes me so content.

I love when the people dance, well or not.

I love the the melodic strum of a guitar, and a beautiful voice following it,

and the art on the wall of an elementary school.

I love the feel of a familiar hand, gentle, and on my forehead.

And I live, by focusing on what I love.

I love that I have a heart big enough, to love so much, so passionatley.

And I am grateful that I have found love

is what gets me through the long hopeless days.

And I will continue to love freely.

A poem about what I really couldnt live without in this world: Love, compassion and kindness. In this poem specifically: Love.
