In Loving Memory of Willie Dignan

The hurt and pain are gone The suffering of that evil thing is not so long But yet again it has taken a belong Friend Brother Husband And Father And the angels sing to welcome thee No pain to see no scars Tears will be flowed and heartache will be felt But at least we know he’s in a better place The suffering has ended That’s good for us to grasp Even though we sit and wish he was here Right beside us in our chairs Playing those country songs he so loved to sing Or just talking about the past that’s has come and gone Now I believe he would say don’t mourn I’m right above you but I know you can’t see. Every time you remember me. Just sit and sing Ride your horse In those rodeos where I used to be And follow your dreams. The hurt and pain are now gone No pain and no scars Don’t worry about me I can hear the Angels sing.
