Loving People
The first time I had my heart was shredded,
The first time I was left by my "special one",
I realized love is a poison,
A poison that courses through the veins.
People, spiders just waiting for their opportunity
To pounce on all of the butterflies around them.
Love is also a strong shoulder.
A shoulder to cry and to lean on
Allowing you to take a breath before the next grueling step
Holding some up like glue,
Keeping the card tower together in a hurricane.
Love is one of the strongest forces
Not even gravity could separate Romeo and Juliet
But it was the poison
That small spider, that ended it all
